Nutella Cake Ingredients

These are very simple ingredients obviously rich in hazelnut spread.

  • 7 oz Nutella®
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup potato starch
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1.75 oz Nutella® (to spread)

Cake Batter Preparation

The batter is a very simple preparation that remains quite liquid, don’t worry.

  • In a bowl, put the Nutella and melt it in the microwave or in a bain-marie, add the warm milk, sugar, flour, cocoa, potato starch, and finally the baking powder.

To mix the ingredients you can use an electric mixer but you could also use a hand whisk.

  • Pour the batter into a 9-inch diameter mold, I put parchment paper on the bottom of the mold and grease and flour the edge.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 50′, do the toothpick test.

  • When the cake has cooled, remove it from the mold and pour the well-melted Nutella on top and enjoy!!!!

NOTES

The Nutella cake keeps well for several days at room temperature if kept in the classic cake holders with a lid.

It has a truly unique texture and to make it even more delicious you could serve it with chopped hazelnuts on the surface.
