Ingredients

To make Nutellotti, only three ingredients are used.

  • 6.35 oz Nutella®
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4.59 oz Nutella® (for filling)

Tools for Mixing

The tools needed to make this dough are very simple and easily found at home. A bowl and a spoon are enough to mix, and you can use the handle to create indentations to fill with Nutella.

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Spoon

Preparation

The dough is very simple and can be prepared by hand without the help of electric tools.

  • Place the Nutella in a bowl, add the whole egg, and mix everything with a fork until the dough is homogeneous.
Add the flour, and it will form a soft but non-sticky dough that you can easily work with your hands.
Create as uniform dough balls as possible and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

  • With the help of any round tool, create indentations in the balls. These indentations will then be filled with Nutella, as clearly seen in the initial video.
Finally, bake the balls in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 12 minutes.

NOTES

These cookies keep well for several days if stored in classic cookie jars with lids.

You can easily take them with you to school or work for a sweet snack because the Nutella is baked, so it doesn’t remain sticky on the outside but will still be soft.

  • Can Nutella be replaced with pistachio cream?

You can certainly make these cookies with pistachio cream. I recommend sprinkling them with some chopped pistachios before baking.
