Two-tone Bundt Cake with Nutella, a delicious alternative to the classic bundt cake for which you can find the recipe here, a simple dessert suitable for any sweet time of your day; I love having it for breakfast but it’s great for a snack or as a dessert.
The ingredients for this bundt cake are very simple and easy to find, you can easily substitute milk with the same amount of water to make it lactose-free. The preparation time is very quick and it will take about 35 minutes in the oven to bake, so there are no excuses not to try the recipe because it won’t even take an hour from preparation to consumption!

Ingredients
The ingredients to make the bundt cake are simple and easily available, you almost certainly already have them in your kitchen.
- 4 eggs
- 1.25 cups sugar
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup milk (or water)
- 2.75 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2 tablespoons Nutella® (or 0.67 oz unsweetened cocoa)
- to taste sugar (to sprinkle on top)
Tools
For convenience, I use a stand mixer with a whisk attachment for mixing the bundt cake, but a hand mixer with a large bowl is sufficient.
- 1 Stand Mixer Howork
- 1 Cake Pan Ballarini
Steps
The two-tone bundt cake batter is very easy, you can have fun preparing it with your kids.
Place the 4 whole eggs with the sugar in the bowl and beat them at high speed until they are pale; always mixing, add oil, milk, flour, and baking powder.
Grease the cake pan well on all sides and pour almost all the batter into it, leaving just a little bit. Now add the two tablespoons of Nutella to this small amount of remaining batter, mix well, and pour this now chocolate-colored batter back into the cake pan. During baking, thanks to the two different consistencies, you will see that the chocolate will sink on its own towards the base, giving your bundt cake slices the classic marbled effect.
Before baking, I recommend sprinkling the surface of the bundt cake with granulated sugar to your liking, but you can omit this step or use other decorations like sugar sprinkles or walnut halves.
Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 35 minutes, but always do the toothpick test before removing it from the oven; if the toothpick comes out dry, it’s done.
Notes and Tips

To keep your bundt cake soft for days, I recommend storing it in a cake container with a lid, although I’m sure it will be gone very soon! One last tip before removing it from the pan, make sure it’s well-cooled. If you liked this recipe, follow the blog and follow me on social media; you can click on the icons on the blog itself.
