The apple and almond crumble is a reinterpretation of the spoon dessert based on apples typical of Anglo-Saxon cuisine. A fragrant and aromatic shell made of butter and almond flour encloses a heart of cooked apples scented with cinnamon. An exceptional combination of flavors and textures with guaranteed success.
The almond flour gives this crumble an even more rustic taste that I find perfect for this kind of dessert!

Start the preparation of the apple and almond crumble by putting all-purpose flour, almond flour, sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon in the food processor bowl.
Continue with very cold butter cut into cubes.Blend at low speed until a crumbly mixture is obtained.
You can also do this by hand: put all ingredients in a bowl and pinch the butter with your fingers while incorporating the dry ingredients.Handle the apples: wash them and remove the core.
Cut them into cubes more or less the same size so the cooking will be uniform.
You decide whether to keep the peel, I like it so I left it on.Add a pinch of cinnamon, brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of melted butter to the apples: mix well until all ingredients are blended together.
Transfer the apples to a baking dish.Distribute the previously prepared crumble over the apples, taking care to cover them completely.
If you want to make single portions, you can use baking dishes of 3-4 inches.
Bake the apple and almond crumble in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 30-35 minutes or until the crumble is nicely golden.
Let it warm up, then serve your dessert alone or accompanied by a dollop of cream or ice cream.
