Balsamic Vinegar Beef Strips, a very simple beef-based main course to prepare and very tasty thanks to the delicious balsamic vinegar cream that dresses it.
Beef strips are a cut of meat that is suitable for various dressings either hot or cold, this is one of my favorites. The meat is floured and, after a short cooking, deglazed with balsamic vinegar which by reducing creates a delicious sauce.
You can accompany the strips with a side of potatoes, with stewed vegetables or with a fresh salad depending on the season.
At the bottom of the recipe, in the FAQ section, I have answered some questions about the preparation of these strips. If you have any others, write a comment or use the appropriate contact form.

Start preparing the balsamic vinegar beef strips with the meat. If you have already bought the strips, you don’t have to do anything, but if you bought the slices for strips, break them with your hands or with a knife if you prefer.
Transfer the meat to a bowl with a tablespoon of flour.Mix the meat and flour with a spoon: continue until all the strips are completely covered in flour.
Heat a knob of butter and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in a pan.
Add the meat and sear it over high heat for a couple of minutes; it should be nicely colored.
Once the meat is well colored, add the balsamic vinegar and lower the heat.
Continue cooking until the balsamic vinegar reduces and thickens into a creamy sauce.
Turn off the heat, season with salt and finish with some dried oregano.
Transfer the balsamic vinegar beef strips to plates and serve immediately.

FAQ
Can I use balsamic glaze instead of vinegar?
I do not recommend it, it doesn’t work as well during cooking, better to use it raw.
I can’t find beef strips, what can I substitute them with?
Try looking for carpaccio slices, they are about the same thickness.
With beef, I also made beef and broccoli stew in a slow cooker!
