Butterless banana bread, a rustic cake with an enveloping aroma and a distinct taste, naturally lactose-free, that is hard not to fall in love with.
Literally “banana bread”, its peculiarity is that it has a batter based on banana puree. The riper the bananas, the sweeter the banana bread will be.

Butterless Banana Bread Recipe
Start preparing the butterless banana bread by peeling and slicing the bananas.
Mash them with a fork or potato masher until you get a fairly smooth puree.
Add the egg, cinnamon, and brown sugar to the banana puree.
Mix well to get a homogeneous mixture.
Continue mixing while adding the sunflower oil in a thin stream.
Continue until the oil is completely incorporated into the batter.
Also add the previously sifted flour and baking powder to the bowl and mix with a spatula until you get a smooth, lump-free mixture.
Transfer the banana bread batter into a loaf pan (12 inches) greased or lined with baking parchment.
Bake the butterless banana bread in a preheated static oven at 347°F for about 1 hour.
Let it cool completely before slicing.
