Homemade chocolate and peanut butter granola is ideal for a healthy, delicious breakfast that provides the right boost to start the day. Additionally, it’s naturally gluten-free and lactose-free, so it’s suitable for everyone.
Granola is nothing more than a mixture of cereals and nuts typical of the American breakfast that has now conquered our tables and can be enriched with fresh or dried fruit, chocolate, or other ingredients according to our tastes. The one I propose is my favorite among those I’ve tried so far with cocoa, coconut oil, and plenty of chocolate.
On TikTok you can find the video recipe of this granola, just click HERE.
With oats, I also made HOMEMADE CEREAL BARS, you can find them HERE.

Start the preparation of the chocolate and peanut butter granola by mixing the rolled oats, unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, and cashews in a bowl.
You can replace the latter with unsalted roasted peanuts or other nuts as you prefer.
Continue by adding the maple syrup, peanut butter, and coconut oil, and stir again with a spoon or spatula.
This is the peanut butter I used for the recipe –> Peanut Butter (Burro di arachidi) – 1 kg – crema di arachidi 100% naturale – Puro burro di arachidi proteico senza zuccheri aggiunti – Produzione controllata – da nu3
This is the coconut oil –> Olio di Cocco Biologico Vergine 500 ml. Crudo e Spremuto a Freddo. Organico e Naturale. Bio Nativo e non Raffinato. Origine Sri Lanka. NATURALEBIO
Transfer the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or, even better, a non-stick silicone mat.
Here’s an example –> Amazon Basics – Tappetini da forno in silicone, Set da 2 pezzi
Level the surface with a spatula until it reaches a thickness of about half a centimeter and bake the granola at 350°F (static oven) for 15 minutes.
Take the granola out of the oven, add the previously chopped dark chocolate (if using, you can also use chocolate chips) and, if desired, more peanut butter, and bake at the same temperature for another 3 minutes.
Remove the chocolate and peanut butter granola from the oven and let it cool completely before breaking it into chunks and transferring it to an airtight container.
Chocolate and Peanut Butter Granola – In Conclusion
Tips: Instead of only rolled oats, you can have fun creating your cereal mix by adding puffed rice, spelt, cornflakes, basically anything you fancy! If stored properly in an airtight container, this granola will keep for about a week, although I think it will be gone much sooner!
