- 6 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pinch nutmeg

Start preparing the mashed potatoes with the Instant Pot by peeling and cutting the potatoes into cubes.
Place them in the electric pressure cooker with water, milk, and salt.
Close the pot with the appropriate lid and seal the valve.
Cook the potatoes on PRESSURE COOK mode at low pressure for 15 minutes.
Once ready, let them rest for 10 minutes, then open the valve very carefully.
Mash the potatoes and continue preparing the mashed potatoes.
Add the butter, grated Parmesan cheese, and nutmeg to the potato puree.
If you like, you can also add some black pepper.
Mix well with a spatula until the butter has melted and the mashed potatoes are smooth and silky.
