The orange chicken leg is one of those recipes I love to prepare when I want to serve something simple yet surprising. • Can the orange chicken be prepared in advance?

Yes, you can prepare it in advance and store it in the refrigerator for a day. When serving, simply reheat it in the oven at a low temperature to keep the meat tender and the sauce fragrant.

  • Can I use packaged orange juice?

It’s possible, but fresh orange juice guarantees a more intense and natural aroma. If you use packaged juice, choose one that is 100% orange, without added sugars.

  • Is soy sauce indispensable?

Soy sauce helps balance the sweetness of the orange with a savory note. Alternatively, you can slightly reduce it or replace it with a pinch of salt, considering the final taste.
