Start preparing the puff pastry savories by unrolling the pastry directly onto the baking sheet.
Cut the pastry into squares using a pizza cutter or a smooth-bladed knife.Add a teaspoon of dried tomato pesto on each square.
I used my DRIED TOMATO AND ALMOND PESTOPeel and finely chop half a red onion. If you prefer, you can also use fresh spring onions.
Bake the savories in a static oven at 375°F for about 15 minutes, the pastry should be golden.
Remove from the oven and finish the preparation with fresh aromatic herbs, I chose chives but parsley is also fine.
Transfer the puff pastry savories to a cutting board or a bowl and serve immediately.

FAQ
How long do they last?
It’s best to serve these savories immediately, but you can store them in an airtight container (preferably in the fridge) for no more than 48 hours.
Can I use shortcrust pastry?
I haven’t tried, but they should turn out great with shortcrust pastry as well.
I’m lactose intolerant, what can I do?
Don’t worry, most puff pastries on the market are naturally lactose-free as they are made with margarine or other vegetable substitutes.
