  • 14 oz carrots (about 3 medium carrots)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Recipe for Spiced Carrot Sticks in the Air Fryer

  • Start preparing the spiced carrot sticks by peeling the carrots and removing any green tops.
    You can use the leaves to make CARROT LEAF PESTO.

  • Cut each carrot into three or four pieces and then cut each piece into sticks.
    Transfer the carrot sticks to a bowl.

  • Add to the carrots one crushed or grated clove of garlic, salt, black pepper, ground ginger and smoked paprika.
    Mix well.

  • Finish the preparation with a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and mix again until each stick is evenly coated.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 392°F.
    Place the seasoned carrots in the basket, taking care not to overlap them.

  • Cook the spiced carrot sticks in the air fryer for 13–15 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
    Serve immediately while hot.
