Recipe for Summer Fruit Salad
Begin the preparation of the summer fruit salad by cleaning the melon: remove the two ends and cut it in half.
Using a spoon or fruit baller, remove the seeds. Cut it into not too large cubes.
Wash the nectarines, you can leave the skin if you like. Cut them in half and remove the central pit.
First slice them and then cut into pieces.
Transfer the fruit to a bowl.
Wash and drain the blueberries and grapes. If using a seedless variety of grapes, leave them whole; otherwise, cut the grapes in half and clean them.
Add blueberries and grapes to the rest of the ingredients.
You can sweeten to taste, but it’s not a mandatory step; I added a couple of tablespoons of honey.
Wash and dry the basil leaves.
After chopping them, add to the fruit salad.
Mix well to combine all the ingredients and immediately serve the summer fruit salad.
