HOW TO MAKE THE BLUEBERRY JAM TART
First, prepare the shortcrust pastry following all the steps you can find in my recipe here.
After the indicated resting time, flour the pastry board and preheat the oven, in static mode, to 350°F.
Next, place the shortcrust pastry dough on the board and roll it out with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 1/4 – 3/8 inch. If it tends to crumble, work it a bit with your hands before rolling it out.
Then, roll the pastry onto a rolling pin and transfer it to the previously buttered pie pan.
Then, roll the rolling pin over to removethe excess pastry and put it in the refrigerator for about half an hour. With the leftover pastry, create lattice strips with the help of a fluted pastry wheel.
Prick the surface with a fork, cover with the jam and bake in the preheated oven for 30 – 35 minutes. Let it cool and complete with fresh blueberries. Here’s the Blueberry Jam Tart ready. Enjoy your meal!
Until the next recipe.
Storage
You can store the Tart at room temperature for 2 – 3 days, in an airtight container.
