How to make Bread Pizzas – waste-free recipe

  • First, place the loaf of bread on a cutting board and use a knife to slice it about 0.6 inches thick; then, arrange the slices of bread on a baking tray covered with parchment paper and top each slice with tomato sauce.

  • Meanwhile, remove the mozzarella from its package and let it drain in a colander, press it with your hands and place it, in pieces, on the bread slices. Then, sprinkle with oregano, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on each mini pizza and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 5 minutes.

  • As soon as the cheese has melted, the bread pizzas are ready. In fact, since they don’t need to cook, they are ready in a few minutes. Serve them hot or warm. Enjoy your meal!

Storage

I recommend consuming the mini pizzas immediately: having already heated them once in the oven, they might harden and reheating them again would compromise the result.
