Breaded Meat Rolls stuffed with cooked ham and melting cheese, so delicious!! Perfect for a family dinner or with friends.
It’s my favorite second course from when I was a child. My mom used to make them for me often when I came back from school along with a nice plate of French fries. I wasn’t very fond of meat; I remember it took me ages to swallow it, but this way I certainly didn’t need to be asked twice to eat it. I loved it and still do, to be honest.
After many years, I now make it for my children and they love it too.
Now, let’s see together how to make the Breaded Meat Rolls. Gather your ingredients and let’s start.
And if you try them, don’t forget to let me know in the comments on my Facebook page HERE. I look forward to it.

Ingredients
- 6 veal slices
- 3 slices cooked ham
- 3.5 oz fontina (or other melting cheese)
- 1 egg
- as needed olive oil (for frying)
- as needed breadcrumbs
- as needed salt
Tools

Steps
First, beat an egg in a plate along with salt and dip the meat slices, letting them rest for a few seconds, then coat them in breadcrumbs.
Meanwhile, place a pan with oil on medium-high heat and allow it to heat. When the oil is hot, cook the meat slices on both sides
As they cook, place the slices on a plate and cover with cooked ham and thinly sliced fontina. Roll starting from the point where the fontina is.
Secure with a toothpick and place the slices back in the pan with the lid on, on low heat, until the cheese is melted. Serve hot.
