Ingredients
- 2 potatoes (medium-small)
- 2 carrots
- 2 zucchini (small)
- 1 onion
- 1 jar mayonnaise
- 2.8 oz peas
- to taste salt
- 4 tomatoes (vine)
Steps
First, prepare the Russian salad. You can use your favorite recipe, but if you want, you can find mine with the procedure at this link: Homemade Russian Salad. Once the Russian salad is ready, put it in the refrigerator to cool.
In the meantime, prepare the tomatoes: wash them and cut off the top cap. Slightly cut the base of the tomatoes so that they stand upright without tipping over. Then, empty them completely, using a teaspoon. Salt them lightly and place them upside down on a plate.
Then, as soon as the Russian salad is ready, fill the tomatoes using a teaspoon. Here are your Tomatoes Stuffed with Russian Salad ready. Serve and enjoy!
See you at the next recipe.
Storage
You can store the Tomatoes Stuffed with Russian Salad in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, closed in an airtight container.
Tips
Anti-waste tip: with the leftover tomato pulp, I made a nice sauce by adding other tomatoes.
