Ingredients
- 2 Eggs (medium)
- 1.6 oz Sugar
- 8.8 oz Mascarpone
- 5.3 oz White Chocolate
- 7.1 oz Ladyfingers (approx.)
- 2.1 oz Hazelnuts
- A few drops Lemon Juice (for whipping egg whites)
- White chocolate (2-3 squares for decoration)
- as needed Coffee (pure or diluted with milk or water)
Tools
- Bowls
- Mixer
- Spatula
- Coffee Machine
- Baking Dish
Preparation
Prepare a 4-cup coffee maker and let it cool. Put it in a bowl, sweeten to taste, and dilute with a little water (only if you like).
Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie (or microwave) and let it cool.
Take two bowls and separate the yolks from the whites. Beat the yolks well with sugar until you get a fluffy and frothy mixture.
Add the mascarpone and the now cold melted white chocolate. Mix with the mixer.
Whip the egg whites with a few drops of lemon. Then gradually combine them with the cream, stirring from the bottom up so they don’t deflate.
Take a baking dish, arrange the coffee-soaked ladyfingers on the bottom, and create the first layer.
Spread a little cream on top, a handful of hazelnuts (coarsely chopped). Soak the ladyfingers in coffee again and make a new layer.
Spread the cream and decorate with hazelnuts. Continue until you finish the ingredients. Decorate the surface with hazelnuts and white chocolate flakes.
Let it rest in the fridge for at least a couple of hours. The longer it rests, the better it is 😍
And voilà, your delicious white chocolate and hazelnut tiramisu is ready to be devoured!!
N.b.
The quantities described are for approximately 4-6 people, if you need a dose for a larger number of people, here it is:

Notes
Do I prefer to eat tiramisu with pasteurized eggs? How do I do it?
You will need to dissolve the sugar indicated in the recipe in a saucepan with a tablespoon of water (about 0.7-1.1 oz). Bring everything to a temperature of 250°F (you will need a kitchen thermometer).
Meanwhile, start beating the yolks with the electric whisk for about 5 minutes, then slowly pour in the melted sugar, continuing to whip until the cream has cooled down.
Do not worry if at first the cream becomes more liquid, once it has cooled down it will become creamy and thick again. Can I freeze tiramisu?
Certainly! I do it often and I enjoy it as if it were an ice cream cake. You can already portion it by putting it in not too large containers so you can defrost a little at a time. We can store tiramisu in the freezer for up to three months.
It’s a good rule to indicate the start and end date on the package so you don’t risk forgetting it. Also, always use sterilized containers, with hermetic closures, and once the product is thawed it cannot be refrozen.
This rule applies to all types of products. How long does tiramisu keep in the fridge?
Tiramisu can be kept in the fridge for 48 hours, up to three days but if it’s summer it’s better not to risk, two days is the safest time to be sure.
How can I replace white chocolate?
If you don’t like white chocolate, you have to change the recipe! Being the main character, any substitution would totally change the final result and wouldn’t make sense 😉
What wine can I pair with this dessert?
To enjoy a creamy, fragrant, and delicious dessert like white tiramisu, you need a good wine, not just any. You can try with these suggestions:
Moscato d’Asti: a sweet wine, slightly sparkling and aromatic;
Passito Wines like Moscato di Pantelleria, Zibibbo, or a Vin Santo;
Fortified Wines: Marsala is a classic pairing with tiramisu and can also be used as an ingredient in the dessert.
