AIR FRYER ROASTED POTATOES

Now let’s make roasted potatoes with the air fryer, soft inside and crispy outside, with very little oil but most importantly very tasty. Easy recipe with perfect results, for a timeless side dish that pairs with any main course.

For cooking roasted potatoes with the air fryer, we can proceed in two ways, first parboiling the potatoes for 10 minutes, then cutting and seasoning them, and finally cooking them in a square or round pan, essential accessories. With this method, cooking times are significantly reduced, and the potatoes will turn out perfectly, tender inside and crispy outside.

Alternatively, with the second method, cut the raw potatoes, season them, and cook them in the air fryer for double the time of the first method, taking care to turn them at least three times. I prefer the first method with my 5.5 qt COSORI air fryer and I will show you how to do it below.

  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Very cheap
  • Preparation time: 30 Minutes
  • Portions: 3 People
  • Cooking methods: Air frying
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 1.1 lbs potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • to taste sweet paprika and garlic powder
  • to taste salt and ground black pepper

Steps

  • First, wash the potatoes to remove any impurities. Then, with the skin on, place them in a saucepan with cold water. When the water starts to boil, cook the potatoes for 10 minutes.

Turn off the heat, drain the potatoes, and let them cool.

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks not too large, preferably all the same size.

  • Place the potato chunks in a bowl and season them with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, rosemary, salt, and ground pepper. Mix them well with the seasoning.

  • Pour the seasoned potatoes into the basket of your air fryer; I used the low square 8×8 inch one. Arrange them all in a single, even layer.

Without preheating the air fryer, cook the potatoes at 392°F for 15 minutes.
