The mini cheese muffins with air fryer are irresistibly good, tasty, and delicious, in addition to being very easy to make with the air fryer.
Get some paper cups with a diameter of 1.5 inches, an air fryer (of course), and in 20 minutes you’ll have a delicious appetizer or snack to serve. Note that everything we make with the air fryer can also be done in a traditional ventilated oven.

Ingredients
- 4.9 oz flour
- 2.8 oz grated Parmesan
- 0.5 cup milk
- 2.7 tbsp sunflower seed oil
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp crispy fried onion (available ready-made)
- 0.14 oz salt
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1/2 packet instant baking powder for savory preparations
- to taste poppy seeds, white pepper powder
Steps
Put all the dough ingredients in a bowl and mix them well together until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Crispy fried onion can be found ready-made in the supermarket sections where Asian products are sold.
Preheat the air fryer to 320°F for 3 minutes.
In the meantime, place the paper cups on the grill of the air fryer basket, and fill them one by one with scant 2 teaspoons of mixture, to 3/4 full, because they will rise while cooking.
Cook the mini cheese muffins at 320°F for 15 minutes.
Take out the air fryer basket and let them cool slightly before serving.
They are excellent for an appetizer accompanied by prosciutto, olives, and cheeses, for a snack, hot or cold.
