The no-bake chocolate cake is a quick and indulgent dessert made with bananas and chocolate and, as the name suggests, without turning on the oven. It’s quick because it is prepared in a few minutes without using flour and then cooked in the microwave for ten minutes.

Ingredients
- 1.1 lbs bananas (4 large bananas, weighed without peel)
- 4 eggs
- 8 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3.5 oz dark chocolate (for the glaze)
- 1.7 fl oz milk (for the glaze)
Preparation
1 – Put the bananas into the blender with the eggs, the cocoa powder, and the sugar, add the baking powder and blend until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous mixture.
2 – To make the no-bake chocolate cake, get a microwave-safe glass baking dish, preferably with high sides because the batter tends to rise during cooking.
3 – Lightly grease the glass dish and then pour in the banana and cocoa mixture.
4 – Cook the cake in the microwave for 10 minutes at 800W. The batter will puff up and then collapse. Once cooking is finished, let it cool before removing it from the dish.
5 – Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate glaze by placing the chopped dark chocolate and the milk in a small glass bowl. Melt the chocolate for 1 minute in the microwave.
6 – Finally, pour the warm chocolate glaze over the cake and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour before serving.
