Avocado cream with coffee flavor is a very quick and easy preparation, no cooking, gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free. The basic version is made with only three ingredients, but we can naturally customize it to our taste. The result, obtained in about ten minutes, will be a smooth, glossy, soft cream, perfect for filling desserts, accompanying cakes, cookies, or as a dessert to serve at the last minute for unexpected guests.

Ingredients
- 1 Ripe Avocado
- 1 tbsp Instant Coffee (also decaffeinated)
- 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar (or granulated)
- 1 pinch Fine Salt
Steps
Cut the avocado all around with a knife until you reach the center (touching the large central pit).
With your hands, rotate the two halves of the avocado in opposite directions. This way, the fruit will split into two parts easily.
Using a teaspoon, scoop out all the pulp. In my case, from an avocado weighing 250 grams (as stated on the label), I obtained 148 grams of pulp.
The quantities of sugar and coffee in this recipe are based on the amount of pulp obtained.
Transfer it immediately into a blender (avocado pulp tends to darken quickly), add the instant coffee, sugar (you can use either powdered or granulated sugar, or other sweeteners of your choice), a pinch of salt and blend for a few seconds until you get a smooth, lump-free cream.
You can also make the cream without a blender by putting the avocado pulp (which must be ripe and buttery, not firm) into a bowl and mash it well with a fork. There should be no fruit pieces left. Then add the other ingredients and mix them to combine perfectly.
Taste to see if it needs more sugar or if you want a stronger coffee flavor. If desired, just mix any additional ingredients with a spoon or a metal whisk.
You can enrich the avocado cream with coffee flavor with chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, pistachios or toasted hazelnuts; or flavor it with ground cinnamon, a finely crushed cardamom seed, vanilla paste, or powdered vanilla such as vanillin.
Do not add liquid ingredients, only paste or powder, to avoid ruining the final texture, which could become too runny or even liquid.
If you want a slightly firmer consistency, perfect for fillings or soft decorations, weigh the obtained cream and add 10% (of the cream’s weight) of well-sifted cornstarch.
Mix with a whisk until it is completely absorbed. Cover the cream directly with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
The cream keeps well covered in the fridge for a couple of days.
Additional idea. Add half a teaspoon of sifted cocoa powder. The avocado cream with coffee flavor will become even more delicious and aromatic.
Bon appetit
