- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Medium
- Preparation time: 30 Minutes
- Portions: 12 sweet ravioli
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Fall, Winter, and Spring
Ingredients
- 1 roll Puff Pastry
- 2 Apples
- as needed Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1 tablespoon Orange Juice
- as needed Powdered Sugar
Preparation
1) Peel and chop the apples into very small cubes, which we will drizzle with orange juice. Also, add the chocolate chips and mix to form a blend.
2) Unroll the rectangular puff pastry and cut out circles with a diameter of 4 inches.
3) Place a tablespoon of the apple and chocolate mix on half of each circle and close by overlapping the other half. Seal the ravioli by pressing the edges of the dough with a fluted pastry wheel or the tines of a fork.
4) Place each treat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about a finger’s width apart.
5) Bake the sweet ravioli in the middle of the oven at 392°F for about 15 to 20 minutes (they should be golden on both sides). Remove from the oven, let them cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and enjoy.
