Preparation of Quick Cocoa Cookies
The preparation of these cookies is extremely quick, as you will see in the video and as you will experience making them, it’s a clever recipe suitable for when you crave something sweet but have little time.
In a bowl, place the softened butter and sugar, start the whisk and mix at high speed until you get a creamy mixture.
Add the egg, continuing to mix, then add the flour, a pinch of salt, and finally the cocoa, and continue to mix until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Finally, add the baking soda, mix again, and now abandon the whisk and knead with your hands until you get a workable but non-sticky dough.
Take a small portion of dough and work it between the palms of your hands as if making meatballs, then place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, well-spaced (they will spread during baking).
Bake in a static oven at 338°F for about 10/12 minutes, as soon as they start to crack, wait a minute and take them out, then let them cool to enjoy them in all their goodness!
An Extra Tip:
* For a more intense and rich flavor, use good quality unsweetened cocoa. If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can choose a milder cocoa;
* If the dough is too sticky, add a little flour, one tablespoon at a time, until you achieve a soft but manageable consistency. If it’s too hard, add a few drops of milk;
* You can enrich the dough with chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a pinch of cinnamon for an extra touch of flavor;
* Quick cocoa cookies keep well covered for 3/4 days.
