Pan-fried Shrimp with Lemon

in

I love shrimp cooked in a skillet in just a few minutes and dressed with plenty of lemon. Unfortunately here in the Netherlands I don’t easily find fresh fish, at least not in the area where I live. So when I go to Italy for vacation one of the first things I do is stock up on seafood and cook a few new recipes for the blog, just like this one.

These pan-fried shrimp are extremely quick to bring to the table — they only take a few minutes and are perfect for a special occasion, a celebration, Christmas or Valentine’s Day, for example. Let’s make them now.

  • At the end of cooking transfer the shrimp to a serving plate and garnish with chopped fresh parsley and a few lemon wedges made from the remaining half.

A few salad leaves go well too and here’s a dish that couldn’t be simpler. The pan-fried shrimp with lemon are delicious, very light and also nutritious: what are you waiting for? Let me know if you made them in the comments below the recipe.

    Enjoy your meal!

Storage

You can prepare the shrimp in advance and then reheat them when needed. Cooking them is so quick that I still recommend making them fresh at the time.
