Kinder bueno cake
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Medium
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 8
  • Cooking methods: Oven
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 packet baking powder
  • vanillin
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp NutKao (white chocolate cream)
  • as needed Nutella®
  • 3 kinder bueno (or 9 mini)

Tools

  • Piping Bag
  • Tart Pan
  • Mixer

Preparation

  • To prepare the Kinder Bueno cake, start by taking the butter out of the fridge at least an hour before, so it becomes soft. Preheat the oven to 338°F and let it warm up.
Meanwhile, slightly warm the milk. In a bowl, cream the butter with the sugar using a whisk or an electric mixer, then add the eggs one at a time. Add the flour together with the sifted baking powder, then the vanillin and a pinch of salt. Work with the mixer and gradually add the warm milk, mixing well to obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Butter and flour a tart pan, pour in the batter and level the surface. Bake at 338°F for about 25 minutes.

  • Once ready, let the cake cool for about half an hour, then gently flip it onto a serving plate. During this time, prepare the filling. Soften the Nutella in the microwave or in a double boiler and pour it into the cavity of the cake formed by the tart pan, then proceed with the decoration.
Soften the NutKao using the same method for the Nutella and place two tablespoons in a disposable piping bag. Cut the tip a few millimeters, creating a small hole, then squeeze a small amount of NutKao in the center and create four circles around, a few centimeters apart.
With a toothpick, drag the cream from the center towards the outside forming four lines. Repeat the operation creating a line in the middle between two lines, always starting from the center towards the outside. Finally, make another line in the center of each obtained slice, but this time dragging the cream from the outside towards the center of the cake.
At this point, all that’s left is to complete the decoration with the Kinder Buenos and serve the cake.
