  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Nutella®
  • to taste Nutella®

Tools

  • 18 Cupcake Liners paper muffin liners
  • muffin pan
  • Mixer
  • Bowl

Preparation

  • To prepare the Nutella muffins, start by working the sugar and eggs in a large bowl with the mixer. Add the sifted flour together with the baking powder and mix well, pouring in the milk slowly. Then, add the melted butter and Nutella, continuing to stir. Finally, incorporate the sifted cocoa to obtain a homogeneous and fairly thick mixture. Make sure there are no white dough residues at the bottom of the bowl.
Take a muffin pan and place the cupcake liners. Fill each liner 3/4 full with the batter.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.

  • Once cooled, make a round incision on the surface of each muffin with a sharp knife. Use a coffee spoon to remove some crumbs, creating a space the size of a walnut, then fill it with a teaspoon of Nutella.
You can leave it exposed for a delicious and inviting effect, or close the muffin with the removed piece of surface.

Tips and Storage

Nutella muffins keep for up to 3 days covered. If left uncovered in the environment, you risk finding them dry.
