Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet baking powder for desserts
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lemon zest (grated)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Tools

  • Mixer
  • Bundt Cake Pan aluminum

Steps

  • To prepare the two-tone bundt cake, start by putting the eggs, sugar, and grated lemon zest in a bowl, then beat the ingredients with an electric mixer. Gradually add the milk, and then the vegetable oil while continuing to mix.

At this point, gradually add the sifted flour, and finally add the baking powder. Mix until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter.

Take a bundt cake pan, grease it with butter and flour it, then pour in only half of the batter.

Now add the cocoa to the remaining half of the batter, and mix with the beaters until you have a dark homogeneous batter. Then pour it over the light batter.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 35-40 minutes. Always do the toothpick test before removing it from the oven.

Let it cool and if you like, you can decorate it with powdered sugar, or serve it plain as it is.
