I recommend consuming the asparagus omelette immediately so that it remains nice and fluffy.
If out of season, you can use frozen asparagus, and in that case, you just need to thaw them and cut them into pieces.
You can steam the asparagus in the microwave by placing them in a suitable container and cooking them for 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can use asparagus cooked in a jar.
Variations for cooking the omelette in the air fryer
Instead of asparagus, you can use diced potatoes cooked in the air fryer, or zucchini.
