Many of you ask me about the difference between vegetable milk and plant-based drink. Plant-based drinks are composed of 90% water and are often enriched with sugar. It goes without saying that, from a nutritional point of view, they provide no benefit. Better a vegetable milk mixed with a little water; it will improve the taste and the benefits these drinks can offer.

Oat bran porridge in a canning jar

Oat bran has a low glycemic index and is a valid alternative to flours. If you want to make porridge with bran, know that it will have a more gelatinous and dense consistency than flakes. The result will be more similar to a pudding.
