Chocolate Covered Blueberries

Chocolate Covered Blueberries are more than a recipe; they’re a delicious way to serve blueberries, a treat for an afternoon snack, but also delightful and cute to serve as finger food during friend gatherings. I prepared them and then stored them in the fridge, and every now and then, when I open the fridge to find something to make for lunch, I eat a few!

These chocolate covered blueberries are an easy no-bake dessert, and you can also try making it by adding other fruits!

Of course, when using extra dark chocolate, the sugars will be lowered, and this dessert will become a Low Glycemic Index Dessert perfect for those following a Low Glycemic Index Diet.

How to Prepare Chocolate Covered Blueberries

  • Wash the blueberries under running water and dry them.

    Skewer 4 blueberries on toothpicks.

Then place the blueberry skewers on a tray and put them in the freezer.

Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate in the microwave at low power (400 or 600W).

Pour the melted chocolate into a tall and narrow glass.

After 20 minutes, the blueberries will be cold enough. Dip them in the dark chocolate and lift them out, letting the excess chocolate drip off.

Place the toothpicks with the blueberries on a tray lined with parchment paper and let the chocolate set.
