Fregula with seafood in the instant pot, a fish-based main course cooked in the multicooker. Many have asked me if instant pot and multicooker are the same thing. I talk about it in this guide to instant pots, yes, we are always talking about electric multifunctional pots. One feature more, one feature less, we are talking about the same appliance. After delighting you with baby octopus in the instant pot, today I propose a main dish suitable for festive days, fregula with seafood cooked in the instant pot. The process is very simple, use the instant pot to sauté garlic with oil and chili pepper, then add the baby octopuses, shrimp, clams, and mussels. Finally, add peeled tomatoes, fregula, a little water, and cook under pressure for a few minutes. The result is a risotto-style main course with seafood and fregula that is simply delicious!
