Ingredients

  • 14 oz chicken breast (whole)
  • Half sprig rosemary
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 2 pinches smoked paprika (sweet or spicy)
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 tbsp white wine (or half a lemon)
  • 1 clove garlic

What you need to cook chicken in the microwave

  • 1 Microwave oven with combined microwave + grill function
  • 1 Microwave tray in heating material
  • 1 Deep dish
  • Paper towel

Instructions for cooking chicken breast in the microwave

  • Remove any fatty parts and the small bone from the chicken breast. Pat it dry with a paper towel and rub it with salt, pepper, and paprika.

    Place it on the plate and drizzle one tablespoon of oil and the tablespoon of wine over it. Add the peeled and halved garlic clove and the rosemary sprig. Let the chicken marinate for 20 minutes.

  • Place the chicken breast in the microwave tray and coat it with the second tablespoon of oil. Set the microwave to the microwave+grill function at the highest available power, insert the tray, and start cooking for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip the chicken breast to ensure even browning. At the end of cooking, let it rest for two minutes in the turned-off microwave.

    Remove it from the tray, slice it, and serve.
