Microwave Cookies

The recipe for baking microwave cookies that I offer you today is the perfect base for baking many types of shortcrust cookies in the microwave. Our favorite recipe is that of cudduraci, typical Easter cookies, which I then roll out into a sheet of about half an inch. Whether or not you have the crisp function, with this recipe you can perfectly bake cookies in the microwave. Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz shortcrust pastry
  • Half egg (For brushing the egg)

What to use for baking shortbread cookies in the microwave

  • 1 Microwave oven
  • 1 Microwave tray In heating material like Crisp
  • Cookie cutters For cookies

Procedure

  • On a floured surface, roll out the shortcrust pastry to a thickness of about half an inch. Cut out the shortcrust pastry with the cookie cutters and place them on the tray as you go.

    Brush the cookies with the beaten egg. With 300 g (10.5 oz) of shortcrust pastry, about 12 cookies will be made.

  • Insert the tray into the microwave and start the cooking for 10 minutes with the combined microwave and grill function, or Crisp.

    At the end of cooking, place the cookies on a stand and let them cool.

Additional Tips

You can store the cookies in a cookie jar or airtight container. The important thing is that they are well cooled when you close them.
