How to Prepare Mussel Sauté in the Multicooker

  • Clean the mussels with a scouring pad to remove impurities on the shell.

Pull the beard and remove it.

Place the mussels in a large bowl and wash them under running water.

Peel the garlic clove and crush it under the palm of your hand.

Place the garlic clove along with a drizzle of oil inside the multifunction pot and sauté for a minute with the appropriate function. If desired, you can also add a small chili pepper.

After sautéing the garlic in the oil, add the cleaned mussels.

Season with pepper to taste, give a good stir, then close with the pressure lid and start the “steam” cooking function for 6 minutes.

At the end of cooking, immediately vent the pot, stir to flavor the opened mussels with the sauce and add, if desired, chopped parsley.

Serve the mussel sauté in the multicooker hot.
