How to make jar-cooked peas in the microwave
Peel and slice the spring onion, distribute it in the small bowl and add the butter and pinch of salt. Sauté in the microwave at 750 watts for one minute. Meanwhile, dice the cooked ham.
Distribute the sautéed spring onion in the jar, also add the frozen peas, diced ham, and pepper, and mix. Clean the rim of the jar, close and latch. Set the microwave for 2 minutes with the defrost function*, insert the jar and start.
Reset the microwave to your tested power (water test), mine is 750 watts, for 6 minutes and start the cooking. At the end, let the sealed jar rest for 20 minutes. During this time, the peas with ham in jar cooking will finish cooking and a vacuum will form. Once at room temperature, you can store the jar in the fridge or open it, as per instructions.
