The pumpkin soup in jar cooking is ready in just a few minutes in the microwave and will be deliciously creamy, like the best soups. A true comfort food, perfect for autumn evenings. I love pumpkin and making different jars, for example, I take the opportunity to make the sweet and sour pumpkin in jar cooking or the pumpkin in jar cooking, perfect when I want to use it for other recipes.
The sweetness of leeks and pumpkin will be balanced with a touch of sour cream or yogurt, providing a distinct creaminess. For my daughter, who loves soups with pasta, I added two tablespoons of tiny pasta and cooked with the jar open, for the time it takes for the pasta to cook, a touch of grated cheese, and made her happy too. The pumpkin soup cooked in a jar is great to have ready in the fridge when you want something warm and light at the same time.

How to Make the Pumpkin Soup in Jar Cooking
Peel, wash, and slice the leek. Distribute it in a glass bowl, add the oil, and sauté for 2 minutes in the microwave at 750 watts. Meanwhile, remove the pumpkin skin and filaments. Cut the pumpkin into cubes. Divide the sautéed leek into two 500 ml jars or, alternatively, in a liter jar. Add the pumpkin, divided equally, salt, pepper, broth cube, and a tablespoon of water per jar. Mix well, clean the jar rim, seal, and lock.
Set the microwave to your tested power, mine is at 600 watts, place the jar inside, and start cooking for 5 minutes. For the liter jar, cook for 10 minutes. Once cooking is done, let the sealed jar rest for 20 minutes, shaking it occasionally to blend the flavors.
When you want to serve the pumpkin soup, unseal the jar, return it to the microwave, and start at the same power used for cooking, for a few minutes or until the steam pressure releases the vacuum. Use an immersion blender to blend the cooked pumpkin until creamy. Add the sour cream, or yogurt, and serve it hot.
