Rosella Errante’s Tips

How do you remove the vacuum seal from the jar? Unclip it, place the jar in the microwave and start for 3 minutes on defrost function (if cold from the refrigerator). Reprogram the microwave to your tested power (I use 750 watts) and start for about 6 minutes or until it opens. The internal steam push will comfortably remove the vacuum seal without having to force and damage the glass and seals.

Remember that cooking times, as cooking times, vary based on the capacity of the jar used.

The use of thick seal jars (Bormioli Fido- Korken and La Parfait) is essential for this recipe.

Recipe Variations with Cabbage and Ribs in Jar Cooking

Instead of cabbage, you can use savoy cabbage. As an alternative to pork ribs, you can use sausages.
