Salmon and agretti in jar cooking, a light, tasty recipe cooked in just 5 minutes in the microwave. This is one of my first microwave jar cooking recipes that I offer you today in a revamped version. Like the recipe for salmon with fennel in jar cooking or salmon curry with vegetables in jar cooking, this recipe will also be excellent for those on a diet who don’t want to give up eating well and organizing their meals.
To prepare salmon with agretti in jar cooking, simply place the cleaned agretti at the bottom of the jar, laying a salmon fillet coated in sesame seeds on top. A drizzle of oil and off to cooking, sealed in the jar in the microwave. The combined cooking of the microwave with the steam that will form in the jar will result in a tender and juicy recipe. If you add the advantage of the vacuum formed in the jar, allowing you to preserve the salmon with vegetables under vacuum, then you must hurry to prepare salmon and agretti in jar cooking!

Ingredients for Salmon with Agretti in Jar Cooking
- 2 salmon fillets (about 4.6 oz each)
- 10.6 oz agretti (gross weight)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 pinches smoked salt (or regular)
- 2 pinches black pepper
What You Need
- 1 Microwave Oven
- 2 Jars 500 ml with thin seal
Procedure
Clean the agretti, removing the tougher part of the stem. Place them in a colander and rinse well. Drain them and distribute them in the 2 jars, pressing them down well. Season with salt, pepper, half a garlic clove, and set aside.
Place the salmon fillets on a plate and season with oil, then coat them in sesame seeds. Place each fillet in a jar, clean the edges, close, and latch the jars.
Place one jar in the microwave and start cooking at your power level determined by the water test (read instructions), I set mine at 600 watts, for 5 minutes. At the end of cooking, let the jar rest closed for at least 20 minutes, so that the recipe finishes cooking and a vacuum is formed in the jar. Meanwhile, cook the second jar.
Notes and Tips
If you have frozen salmon fillets, let them thaw slightly, season them, and cook each jar for 6 minutes instead of 5.
