Stuffed Pasta in Air Fryer

Stuffed pasta in air fryer, one of my latest Air Fryer Recipes, a perfect main course for holidays and beyond. A variant cooked in the air fryer of my Jar-Cooked Stuffed Pasta and my Microwave Stuffed Pasta.

For this stuffed pasta recipe, I chose to use paccheri, which I stuffed with the mixture for Air Fryer Meat and Vegetable Balls, but you can easily use my Jar-Cooked Pasta Filling. Then I dressed everything with Microwave Tomato Sauce and finished with a generous amount of Microwave-Cooked Béchamel.

What You Need to Prepare Stuffed Pasta in Air Fryer

  • 1 Air Fryer

How to Prepare Stuffed Pasta in Air Fryer

  • To start, prepare the Microwave Tomato Sauce.

Finely chop the onion and place it in a bowl, add the oil and the cleaned and crushed garlic, and sauté in the microwave for 2 minutes at about 750 watts.

Add the peeled tomatoes to the sautéed onion and crush them with a fork, add a pinch of salt, stir, and cook for 8 minutes at 750 watts, stirring halfway through cooking.

If the tomato sauce boils too hard in the microwave, you can place a microwave splash guard over the bowl.

At the end of cooking, remove the garlic clove and add the basil leaves, stir and let it rest.

    Microwave Tomato Sauce
  • Put the mixed ground meat in a large bowl along with the egg, seasoned breadcrumbs, grated cheese, salt and pepper.

Mix to combine, then add the cooked and squeezed spinach chopped with a knife.

Mix again to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

    Also prepare the béchamel sauce.

  • Take a baking dish that can fit into the air fryer.

Pour a few tablespoons of tomato sauce on the base of the dish.

Also add a generous ladle of béchamel and mix.

  • Cook the paccheri for half of their cooking time in salted boiling water.

When cooked, drain and cool them under running water.

Stuff the paccheri with the meat and spinach mixture, then place them vertically inside the dish with tomato and béchamel.

  • Cover the stuffed pasta with more béchamel and tomato sauce to dress it evenly.

  • Sprinkle the surface of the stuffed paccheri with grated cheese.

Insert the dish inside the air fryer’s basket, and then start the cooking at 356°F for 10 minutes, then continue for another 10 minutes at 320°F.

Once cooked, let the dish rest with the stuffed pasta inside the air fryer basket, then, carefully, take it out and serve it while still hot.
