Ingredients for Tuna Sauce in Jar
- 3.5 oz tuna in oil
- 12.3 oz peeled tomatoes
- 0.3 oz salted capers
- 2 salted anchovies
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 sprigs parsley
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (or the tuna oil)
- 1 pinch salt
- 3.5 oz cooked chickpeas
- 1 tbsp nori seaweed (chopped)
- 5 Greek black olives (pitted)
What is needed to make tuna in jar in pressure cooker (PPE)
- 1 multicooker
- 1 Jar 500 ml
Procedure
Desalt the capers in water and, meanwhile, chop the anchovies with the peeled garlic clove, washed parsley and distribute them in the jar. Add the crumbled tuna and squeezed capers. Finally, add the peeled and crushed tomatoes, oil, and salt. Mix well.
Clean the jar rim and seal it. Insert* into the PPE and add water. Close the pot and start cooking for 15 minutes.
Once finished, depressurize and remove the jar. Let cool, check the vacuum, label, and store in the pantry.

For a more intense flavor, you can brown the garlic with the anchovies in a small pan and then proceed according to the recipe.
For this recipe, you can create 2 jars of tuna sauce of 250 ml each.
