Green Vegetarian Sandwiches

  • 1 oz gorgonzola
  • 4 pistachios
  • 1.75 oz white onions
  • 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil (or peanut oil)
  • to taste salt (and preferred spices)

Green Vegetarian Sandwiches

  • Prepare the onions

    Peel the onion, quickly wash it and slice it.

    In a suitably sized pot, pour the oil, the onion, salt, and preferred herbs. Cook and stir as needed for 10 – 15 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.

    Fill the green burger bun

    Cut the bun in half.

    Fill with:

    – a layer of gorgonzola

    – the sautéed onions

    – chopped pistachios (or roughly chopped)
