These little truffles can be made with children and the ingredients can be varied (type of cookie, type of spreadable cheese, honey instead of sugar, milk instead of coffee, nuts can be added and so on), the important thing is to reach the right consistency.

Tiramisu Bonbons

  • 1 oz coffee (or milk)
  • 3.5 oz ladyfingers (or pavesini, dry biscuits)
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 8.8 oz mascarpone (and/or dry ricotta, quark, cream cheese)
  • to taste unsweetened cocoa powder

Tools

  • Moka Bialetti for induction
  • Chopper

Tiramisu Bonbons

  • First, prepare the coffee (you need very little: 1 ounce), then pour it into a large bowl and let it cool. Add the sugar and mix.

Meanwhile, grind the cookies with a mixer, first pouring half of them (in chunks) into the chopper bowl, and then gradually adding the others in pieces as they are powdered. Grind them until you get a flour-like consistency.

Pour the ladyfinger flour into the coffee bowl together with the mascarpone and break it down – mix everything with a fork and then with your hands until you get a homogeneous and firm dough (as in the picture above).

Divide the dough into pieces about the size of walnuts (or a little less).

Then, place some unsweetened cocoa on a flat plate and roll the balls with your slightly wet hands (to prevent the dough from sticking to your hands).

Lift the plate slightly from the surface and rotate it, the balls will be evenly coated with cocoa in no time.

Once ready, the tiramisu bonbons can be eaten immediately or stored in the refrigerator.
