Let me tell you that this baked feta is a showstopper. It takes just a few minutes to prepare, cooks in the oven, and disappears as soon as it’s brought to the table. I assure you that prepared this way, it is truly extremely appetizing. Perfect to serve as an appetizer too. Great with a simple salad, perhaps crumbled right in. Ideal for Sunday brunch or a rustic dinner with friends. Try it as soon as possible, and you’ll agree with me. Shall we bet?

Ingredients for Baked Feta
- 7 oz feta
- black sesame seeds
- granulated garlic
- 1 sprig thyme
- Half fresh chili pepper
- extra virgin olive oil
Tools
- 1 Baking Dish
Preparation of Baked Feta
Place the feta in a small baking dish on top of a sheet of parchment paper.
Sprinkle it with black sesame seeds and granulated garlic. I tried to get them to stick a little on all sides of the cheese, even below. If you don’t have black seeds, you can use the more common white sesame. The only difference will be in the color contrast. Being the feta white, the black sesame looks much better. If you wish to purchase the black one, you can find it by clicking HERE.
Then add the leaves from a sprig of thyme and pieces of fresh chili pepper. The latter can be replaced with dried chili flakes to taste according to your personal preference.
Finally, drizzle a little olive oil over everything.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 30 minutes.
Remove the baked feta from the oven and let it cool slightly before enjoying. You will taste the deliciousness. Enjoy! Paola
