Béchamel with the Thermomix

I decided to write this article because many people ask me how to make béchamel with the Thermomix. So here is the explanation with indications of various dosages that adapt to different preparations and needs. The result is a velvety cream that, thanks to the Thermomix, is prepared in a few minutes without any hassle. It prepares it and we can take care of other things in the meantime. Preparation of béchamel with the Thermomix

  • Whatever the dosage of ingredients you have chosen, the procedure is always the same. Only the cooking time changes.

  • For a béchamel made with 4 1/4 cups of milk, a cooking time of 12 minutes at 194°F and speed 4 will be necessary.

    With all other dosages, it will be sufficient to reduce the cooking time to 6 minutes, keeping the temperature at 194°F and speed at 4.

  • Put all the ingredients in the bowl (flour, chopped butter, milk, nutmeg, and salt), set the Thermomix as described above and you’re done. Your béchamel with the Thermomix is ready to be used in your preparations. Enjoy! Paola.
