Ingredients for the beer scaloppine
- 1.54 lbs pork loin (sliced)
- flour
- 1.4 tbsp butter
- 1 small yellow onion
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1.06 cup light beer
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
Tools
- Meat Tenderizer
- 1 Skillet
- Tongs
Preparation of the beer scaloppine
Remove any fatty parts from the pork slices, lightly pound them to thin them out, and make a couple of small cuts along the edges to prevent them from curling while cooking.
Then flour them, shaking off the excess.
In a large skillet, melt the butter with a few tablespoons of oil before adding the finely chopped onion.
Let it sizzle for a moment, then place the meat slices in the skillet and brown them on both sides over medium heat using tongs.
Once browned on both sides, season with salt and pepper to taste, then pour the beer over them and let the sauce slightly reduce.
When done, garnish the beer scaloppine with chopped parsley.
Place the beer scaloppine on the serving dish and drizzle with their cooking juices. Serve immediately while hot. Enjoy! Paola
