We all know sangria, the typical Spanish drink made with red wine and fruit. As a true teetotaler, today I propose a non-alcoholic sangria. There’s still fruit pieces but no wine. It’s great to serve even to kids and is truly extremely pleasant and refreshing. Preparing it is super easy and you’ll taste how delicious it is when enjoyed ice cold.

Ingredients for a pitcher of non-alcoholic apple sangria
- 1 qt apple juice
- 2 oranges
- 1 pink grapefruit
- 1 apple
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsps brown sugar
- ice
Tools
- Citrus juicer
- 1 Pitcher
Preparation of the non-alcoholic apple sangria
Pour the apple juice into a pitcher, then add the juice of one orange.
Add two tablespoons of brown sugar and stir well until fully dissolved.
Also add a cinnamon stick.
At this point, peel the second orange and the pink grapefruit and cut them into pieces that are not too small. Then place them in the pitcher.
Wash the apple, remove the core, cut it into pieces, and also put it in the pitcher.
Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap (or a lid if it has one) and place it in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
When serving the non-alcoholic apple sangria, add plenty of ice cubes to the pitcher. Enjoy! Paola
