Non-Alcoholic Sprint Aperitif

But did you know that we exist too? I’m talking about teetotalers. Everyone toasts, and what do we do? Drink water? So, here is a delightful non-alcoholic aperitif that is as good as it is simple and ultra-fast to prepare. SPRINT, indeed. It’s very pleasant, fresh, and very thirst-quenching, and it’s perfect in any season. But I’ll tell you more: I’ve found that even non-teetotalers love it. So don’t hesitate to try it; save the recipe, and you’ll find it useful sooner or later. Shall we bet?

Non-Alcoholic Sprint Aperitif
  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Cost: Inexpensive
  • Preparation time: 2 Minutes
  • Portions: 1 person
  • Cooking methods: No cooking
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients for a Non-Alcoholic Sprint Aperitif

  • 1 crodino
  • 2/3 cup blood orange juice
  • 3 cubes ice
  • sugar
  • 1 slice orange (for garnish)

Tools

  • 1 Glass wide and low
  • 1 Plate small

Preparation of the Non-Alcoholic Sprint Aperitif

I didn’t include photos of all the steps because I felt ridiculous, as they are so basic. Read the recipe and you won’t have any difficulty making this delicious drink.

  • First, moisten the entire rim of a wide and low glass with an orange slice (I think it’s called a tumbler).

Sprinkle some granulated sugar onto a small plate and invert the glass onto it as shown in the picture: this way you’ll create the classic sugared rim, which is very pleasant both in taste and appearance.

  • Then pour the crodino and the blood orange juice into the glass and stir.

Fill the glass with three ice cubes and also add an orange slice.

Serve the non-alcoholic aperitif immediately! Super sprint, right? Enjoy! Paola
