A combination that literally drives me crazy is Nutella with salty crackers. From here came the idea of combining this cream with pizza dough. That’s how my Nutella rolls were born, soft and incredibly delicious treats, suitable for any moment of the day. Thought of, baked, disappeared. Of course, you can use the pizza dough you prefer, the one you usually prepare, the one you’re best at, the one you can make with your eyes closed. However, I’ll provide links to various recipes, and you can choose the one that suits you best.

Preparation of Nutella rolls
You can prepare the pizza dough specifically for these Nutella rolls, or you can consider the idea for when you make pizza and have leftover dough. For example, if a dough is enough to make 2 pizzas, with one part you also bring dessert to the table. Great idea, right?! That’s exactly what I did.
You could use Bonci’s dough (1), or the no-knead pizza dough I used (2), or the Thermomix dough (3), or the basic one (4). Click on the pictures to read the respective recipes:
With the rolling pin, roll out the dough to form a rectangle: I used a silicone mat, but parchment paper is also fine.
Lightly warm the Nutella to make it more fluid. I microwaved it for a few seconds. Alternatively, you can warm it in a bain-marie. How much? You can go by eye depending on your personal taste and your sweet tooth. I, being an unapologetic sweet tooth, was generous.
Then spread it over the surface of the rectangle and roll it up starting from the long side.
At this point, cut the roll into pieces and place them, gradually, inside a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Cover with a cloth and let rise for 30 minutes.
After resting, bake the Nutella rolls in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 15/20 minutes. Remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. If desired, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy! Paola
If you have leftover Nutella rolls, I recommend quickly passing them in the oven before enjoying them. They will regain all their fragrance.
