Pear and Apple Sprint Juice (Blender)

in

Today I suggest what I call a pear and apple sprint juice. It’s ideal when you want something tasty and healthy but have little time. It takes only a few minutes with a blender, has no added sugars and is naturally creamy and delicate. Fresh and genuine, it’s perfect as a homemade alternative snack or as a quick, light break during the day.

Ingredients for the pear and apple sprint juice

With these quantities you can make one large glass of juice and two standard glasses.

  • 1 Decana pear (ripe)
  • 1 apple
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water (cold)
  • 1 cube ice cube

Tools

  • 1 Blender

Preparation of the pear and apple sprint juice

  • Wash the pear and the apple, peel them and cut them into not-too-large pieces to make blending easier.

  • Then transfer them to the jar of a regular blender (no extractor needed), add the cold water, one ice cube and a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice (or more if you prefer). Besides being healthy, the lemon prevents oxidation: a small but essential step, especially if the juice will be served after a few minutes.

  • Blend until you obtain a smooth, velvety texture that will be naturally thick thanks to the fruit pulp, without needing to add yogurt or sugars. If you prefer a thinner juice, add about 2 tablespoons of water.

  • Pour the juice immediately into a glass and enjoy it right away to preserve its properties and flavor. Enjoy! Paola
