Ingredients for 6 Pizzaiola Puff Pastries
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3.5 oz cherry tomatoes
- 6 green olives
- 1.8 oz cream cheese
- 1.8 oz Grana Padano cheese (or Parmesan)
- dried oregano
- salt
Tools
- 1 Pizza Cutter
- 1 Fork
- 1 Small Bowl
- Rolling Pin
- 1 Baking Tray
Preparation of Pizzaiola Puff Pastries
Place the cream cheese in a small bowl along with the grated cheese and mix them to obtain a homogeneous cream.
Wash the cherry tomatoes, dry them by patting with paper towels, and slice them thinly. Try to dry them as much as possible even after slicing, always patting them with the paper. Do the same with the olives.
Unroll the puff pastry rectangle, gently roll over it with a rolling pin, then divide it into 6 rectangles and, using the tines of a fork, mark the edges of each puff pastry as shown in the photo.
Then spread the prepared cheese cream inside the punctuated area made with the fork.
Spread the sliced tomatoes and olives over the cream; lightly salt and sprinkle with a pinch of dried oregano.
Transfer everything onto a baking tray and bake the pizzaiola puff pastries in a preheated static oven at 356°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes. They should be slightly golden at the end. Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy! Paola
